Week 2 of the 2011 Legislative Session is in the books. Some ramp up in activity this week and, though they started slowly, bills are steadily dropping. Following bill introductions is like drinking from a firehouse – you get wet and the process is somewhat “hit and miss”!
Today’s verse on my leadership calendar is from Matthew 25:23 – Well done good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.
The reminder here is that no assigned task is inconsequential and that through doing those kind of tasks well, we are found faithful and God is pleased. Pleasing God should be what matters. I know I need to ponder that more on a regular basis.

Well – in rereading this, I meant to say that following Legislation is like drinking from a 'FIRE HOSE" rather than the fire house but I i suppose you get the picture. 🙂
