Looks Like Monday To Me….

Note to self – it is February 28 – Spring is OFFICIALLY a couple of weeks away. OK – that said, perhaps we should have a discussion with the “pollen police”!!!! Seriously I am loving the pear trees everywhere and the crabapples and Japanese Magnolias at the State Capitol. They are terrific.  I remember I loved Ole Miss most in the Spring and I feel the same about the State Capitol grounds.

Of course, my Mama, the most extraordinary weather tracker of all time, reminds me that Easter will be late and it will be cold again. Good enough as long as the cold does not kill the flowers.

Spring is that time of renewal that we all need. Sneezing aside, we need the reminder.

Psalm 139 23-24 (KJV) says it best: Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked (hurtful) way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
