Wednesday was pretty much a transit day. We did tour a wonderful gallery in Vancouver and Stanley Park, went to Granville Island (all those pics are still on my big camera so will pull them later) and then hopped the BC Ferries to Victoria. Victoria is a beautiful, very British and right now really quiet (shoulder season) city. As we walked back from dinner last night (Ferris – excellent!!) a band (I would guess middle/high schoolers) were having a concert on the steps of the provincial parliament building. The weather was perfect – cool and not too humid. We will take it.
Our hotel is the Grand Pacific and overlooks the inner harbor and is steps from the Empress Hotel, the parliament, and the BC Museum.
In a few minutes we are off to Butchart Gardens. It is always amazing.
Still Choosing Joy
