Stories From Home

I often tell folks I was born in Georgia but got to Mississippi as quick as I could! Actually, it took a week. My folks were waiting on my arrival so they could move to Wiggins, Mississippi, and Dad could join Wiggins Clinic. All of this occurred in 1955. Dad, though, was going home. It was years before I fully understood the impact of that. Hopefully these stories will shed some light on that for you. As my niece Emily says, “Home is wherever I’m with you”, but if I go to a “place” historically, home is South Mississippi.

Enjoy.
